Validator Selection and Responsibilities

Validator Selection:

  • Criteria:

    • Staked cGPU Tokens:

      • Validators must stake a minimum amount of cGPU tokens, demonstrating commitment and providing collateral against malicious behavior.

    • Resource Contribution:

      • Must provide verifiable computational resources meeting network standards.

    • Performance Metrics:

      • Selection favors validators with high uptime, reliability, and positive historical performance.

    • Diversity:

      • Ensures geographical and infrastructural diversity to enhance network resilience.

Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing:

    • Validate and record transactions, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

  • Block Production:

    • Propose and produce new blocks, following consensus protocols.

  • Resource Verification:

    • Verify the authenticity and performance of GPU resources provided by themselves and others.

  • Network Security:

    • Monitor for anomalies, participate in consensus, and uphold network protocols.

  • Compliance and Updates:

    • Stay compliant with network regulations and implement required updates or patches promptly.

Incentives:

  • Rewards:

    • Earn rewards in cGPU tokens or other incentives for participating in validation and contributing resources.
